Baptism is an important and profound step in our journey of faith with Jesus Christ. Baptism is a sacred public expression proclaiming both our allegiance to Jesus as our savior and the leader of our life. Baptism also emphasizes our commitment to his community of faith, the church.
At Cloudbreak, we baptize when a person makes a personal decision to ask God for forgiveness of the sins in our life and commits their life to Jesus Christ as God’s Son who died on the cross so that we could be reconciled with God through faith alone.
Cloudbreak has already brought over 40 new believers into Christ's love recognized during the baptism service. Cloudbreak's baptisms are as unique as our congregation.
During summer months, we baptize new believers in the ocean at our favorite beach- Del Mar- with the whole congregation in observation. Throughout the rest of the year, members open up their backyard pools to serve as a baptismal.
